Different types of switches.

 Types of switches,

Basic lease which can be of two types they are.

*Mechanical

*Electronic

Mechanical switches are physical switches which must be activated physical by moving racing releasing or touching its contact.

Mechanical switches

Mechanical switch

Mechanical switches can be classified into different types based on survival factor such as method of accusation communal limit and process number of content (single content and multi content switches),(SPST,DPDT,SPDT,etc).

Single pole single throw switch (SPST)

* This is the basic on and of switches consisting of one input contact and one output contact.

* It switches a single circuit and it can either make( on) or break (off )the lord.

* The contact of (SPST)can either normally open or normally closed configuration.

Single pole double throw switch (SPDT)

* This switches has three terminal 1 is input contact and remaining two are output contact.

* This means it consists two on position and one off position.

* In most of the circuit these switches are used us change your over to connect to the input between two choice of output.

Double Pole single throw switch (DPST)

* This switch consists of four terminal to input contact and two output contact.

* It behave like a two separate SPST configuration operating at the same time.

* In off position both switch are at open State.

* Desh type of switch is used for controlling two different circuit at a time.

Double pole double throw switch (DPDT)

* This is a dual on\off switch consisting of 2 on position.

* It has six terminal to our input contact and remaining for are the output contact.

* It behave to separate SPDT configuration operating at the same time.

Push button switch.

* It is a monetary contacts which the make or break connection as long as purpose is applied or when the button is pushed.

* Generally this pressure is supplied by a button pressed by some one finger.

* Desh button return it normally position on the pressure is removed.

* The internal spring mechanism operates this two state (pressed and released) of a push button.

A push button switch is a momentary switch that is activated by pressing a button. It is spring-loaded and returns to its default position when released. Push button switches are commonly found in control panels, machinery, and consumer electronics.

Fleat switch.

* Floss which are mind used for controlling DC and AC motor pumps. According to the liquid are water in a tank or pump.

* This switch is operated when the float (aur floating object). Moves downward and upward best on water level in a tank .

* This floor movement of road or chain assembly and count wait causes to open or close electrical contact.

There are various types of switches used in electrical and electronic circuits to control the flow of current or to change the state of a circuit. Here are some common types of switches:

Toggle Switch: A toggle switch is a simple on/off switch that typically consists of a lever or a protruding handle that can be flipped up or down to toggle the circuit between the on and off states. It is commonly used in home appliances, lighting fixtures, and electronic devices.

Push Button Switch: A push button switch is a momentary switch that is activated by pressing a button. It is spring-loaded and returns to its default position when released. Push button switches are commonly found in control panels, machinery, and consumer electronics.

Rocker Switch: A rocker switch has a rectangular or square-shaped lever that rocks back and forth to open or close a circuit. It is commonly used in power switches for household appliances and electronic devices.

Slide Switch: A slide switch consists of a small lever or slider that can be moved horizontally or vertically to open or close a circuit. It is often used in electronic equipment, audio devices, and lighting controls.

Rotary Switch: A rotary switch is a multi-position switch that uses a rotating knob or dial to select between different circuit paths or settings. It has several fixed positions, and turning the knob selects a specific position. Rotary switches are commonly found in audio equipment, instruments, and electrical controls.

DIP Switch: Dual In-line Package (DIP) switches are small switches that are usually mounted on a circuit board. They have a row of tiny toggle switches that can be individually set to on or off positions. DIP switches are commonly used for configuration settings, addressing, or setting options in electronic devices.

Reed Switch: A reed switch consists of two thin metal contacts that are hermetically sealed inside a glass tube. When exposed to a magnetic field, the contacts come together or separate, closing or opening the circuit. Reed switches are used in applications such as proximity sensors, security systems, and magnetic switches.

Pressure Switch: A pressure switch is activated by changes in pressure. When the pressure reaches a specific threshold, the switch opens or closes the circuit. Pressure switches are commonly used in pumps, air compressors, and HVAC systems.

These are just a few examples of switches commonly used in electrical and electronic applications. Each switch type has its own characteristics, functionality, and applications, and they are selected based on the specific requirements of the circuit or device they are used in.
